Smarter Financial Management: Regenerating Journal Entries
Financial management in freight forwarding often requires handling similar journal entries repeatedly. Logistaas enables journal entry regeneration within the Accounting Module to reduce manual work and save time.
How It Works:
Instead of creating similar journal entries from scratch, users can now:
- Duplicate an existing journal entry
- The system creates a new copy with a fresh serial number while keeping the original intact.
- Users can edit the entry, modify relevant details, and finalize it instantly.
Why It Matters:
- Eliminates repetitive data entry, reducing errors and improving efficiency.
- Maintains consistency across financial records.
- Speeds up the approval and reconciliation process.
Greater Shipment Tracking & Control
Logistaas continues to improve real-time freight tracking, allowing users to manage shipments more effectively while receiving up-to-date tracking insights.
Better Control Over ETA & ETD Tracking
Managing shipment schedules is critical to avoiding delays and disruptions. With these new improvements:
- ETA/ETD changes now have a dedicated filter in the To-Do List, making it easier to track schedule modifications separately.
- Users can add ETA/ETD changes directly to their main Logistaas dashboard, providing an instant overview without navigating between pages.
Enhanced Real-Time Shipment Visibility
Staying ahead of changes and delays is easier with real-time shipment updates and alerts, ensuring all stakeholders stay informed.
- ETA, ETD, and loading dates dynamically update as changes occur, allowing teams to adjust schedules proactively.
- Shipment statuses are automatically updated in real-time, ensuring that internal teams and customers always have access to accurate tracking information on the system and customer portal.
Improved Tracking & Route Management
With greater control over route management and tracking, users can now monitor and correct tracking gaps more efficiently.
- Easily create, update, and modify shipment routes directly within Logistaas to keep tracking data accurate.
- A dedicated dashboard highlights shipments not tracked by Wakeo, whether due to missing or incorrect information or because Wakeo does not support the carrier. This feature helps users quickly identify tracking gaps, address missing details, and follow up manually if needed.
- Automatically detects differences between declared and actual cargo weight, notifying users to adjust records and prevent costly weight-related errors.
New Custom Date Rules for Improved Scheduling
Accurate shipment schedules require consistent milestone tracking. Logistaas now allows admins to define rules for custom dates, ensuring structured shipment timelines and reducing scheduling errors.
How It Works:
- Admins can set rules for custom dates to be Before, After, Before, or Equals, or After or Equals another milestone such as Loading Date, ETD, or ETA.
- This ensures that date dependencies remain structured and shipment schedules follow logical sequences.

- Prevents errors caused by conflicting dates.
- Ensures accurate milestone tracking for shipments.
- Provides better control over timeline dependencies, reducing manual corrections.
